Hi Everyone

Just a few lines to let everyone know how Brenda, Wendy and I did at the Christmas Fayre last week. We raised £133 and then gave £20 to the School, I took the Christmas cards we had left into work and raised another £25. Not bad for 4 hours work, everyone who bought something off us was given a leaflet on breast awareness and we put up the display board with information about 'Pool of Life' Eve, and Chris popped in to offer their support.

Thanks to everyone who supported the Christmas Fayre and to everyone that donated items to sell.

Regards

Gail

Hi everyone.
Wasn't the radio 4 program's women's hour fantastic. Anna Bailey produced a very informative item.
We have had lots of interest shown since the program's went out.
The BBC were suppose to come Thursdays evening but failed to turn up.
A new lady came called Sylvia Davies, hopefully she will return once we comeback from Singapore.
Other ladies from around the country have shown an interest so hopefully this time next year we will have other breast cancer survivors crews to race against.
Well done to all who paddled last night you were incredible, if we continue to paddle like that we will definitely win in our lane, and before all the other lanes finish.
Wendy our helm was very impressive -you know you can do it wendy, well we do.
Well done Ladies.

Hi all,
I have just had an e-mail from Ruth Bourne the lady from canada that is joining us un Singapore.
She is really looking forward to meeting and paddling with us.
She says that she herself has no british blood, but her father -in-law is from London, that means that her husband could have a dual passport in which case she could have a british passport because she is married to him.
Any way Angelina Ong from singapore has said that there will be paddlers available in Singapore.
